Tim Nickas

Tim has been the assistant track and field coach at George Mason since 2019 and works specifically with jumps, pole vault, multi-events, and javelin. Prior to coaching at GMU, he coached at Mount St. Mary's University. He is a former D1 decathlete himself, competing for The Mount in college. He had to pull out of his most recent coach's multi-event competition (2024) due to a calf injury. The rest of the coaching staff is looking forward to him making a full recovery and coming back to win next year's coach's multi-event competition!
